About Cosecha Digital
A small company with a specific aim: make the UK's agricultural knowledge usable through AI, and help the businesses that serve farmers do the same.
Chris Fellows
Chris founded Cosecha Digital in 2026 after twelve years in UK agricultural media. Since 2014 he has led the commercial team at Agri Web Media, publisher of The Farming Forum, Farm Classifieds, Direct Driller and Tech Farmer, and has edited Direct Driller, the regenerative agriculture magazine. Over that time the business moved from digital marketing into print and, more recently, into AI.
He designed and built the on-page keyword targeting system behind The Farming Forum's advertising, and has worked on a series of Innovate UK funded projects applying AI to farming problems, including farm machinery insurance valuations and farmer-to-farmer input price benchmarking. He is a co-founder of Agigence, which is building Farm Assist, an AI assistant for working farms.
Chris has delivered AI training courses nationally and speaks regularly to farmer groups, agricultural companies and industry events about what AI can usefully do on a farm today. He has an MSc in Meteorology with Applied Mathematics and a BSc in Geography with Hydrology.
On the AI for Agronomy project he is the AI technical lead, responsible for the knowledge layer, technical delivery and farmer training.
How we work
Farmer first
Every project starts with how farmers actually find information and make decisions. Technology comes second.
Show the source
If an AI answer cannot point to where it came from, it should not be given. We build citation in from the start.
Respect the data
Rights and provenance are recorded for everything we store. Content owners stay in control of how their material is used.
Plain English
No jargon in talks, documents or software. If it needs explaining, it needs rewriting.
